Notes about your visit

Pre-Appointment

Please be sure to complete your Intake form before your appointment.

You will receive a reminder email and a Mask Preference Questionnaire 2 days prior to your appointment. Masks are not currently required in our clinic, but I want you to be comfortable, so please let me know your preferences!

If you begin feeling sick at all before your visit, please STAY HOME. Let me know as soon as possible so I have an opportunity to fill your spot. Alternatively, you may give your appointment to a friend or family member (as long as they are already a current client), but please let me know if you are doing this as soon as possible.

If you are bringing an infant for treatment, please do not feel you must feed before the visit. It can be helpful to do so during treatment.

Arrival

My office is in New Edinburgh at 35 Beechwood Ave, 3rd Floor (within Santé Health Beechwood). Enter through the main doors and proceed through the next set of double doors to find the elevator on your right. The clinic is on the 3rd floor. Please park strollers and remove shoes before entering the clinic. Have a seat in the waiting area until I come to greet you.

Santé Health operates as a scent-free environment to be mindful of the sensitive needs of others. Please be aware of the products you use before coming to appointments and do your best to eliminate fragrance (ie. perfumes/colognes, scented creams, clothes freshly washed in scented laundry soap/dryer sheets).

Payment

Payment options are e-transfer (preferred) to RMT.krista@gmail.com, cash or cheque ONLY.  No debit or credit.

Payment is due at the time of appointment. Please send e-transfers BEFORE your visit if you do not use mobile banking. Insurance receipts are issued after payment.

If you do not have a Canadian bank account, please bring CAD cash to your visit.

Safety Measures

1) Masks are no longer mandated or required in our clinic. I may be wearing a medical grade surgical mask during some or all of your treatment, and possibly protective eyewear.  We will discuss preferences before you appointment. I screen myself for illness before providing treatment. If I am sick, you will be notified as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment.

2) All RMTs must complete mandatory Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) modules for best practice in Canada.

3) Cleaning and disinfecting protocols are in place as directed by the Ministry of Health and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).

I have scheduled time before and after appointments in order to ensure thorough cleaning of the treatment space and equipment.

Other high touch surfaces outside the treatment room are regularly cleaned and disinfected as well.
